We carefully size and custom assemble our tournament winning junior clubs from top quality components - right here in the US. Quality. Unlike those cute toy and bargain sets - that are best left in the garage - VT MAX clubs are built with tournament winning materials. It's no secret that there are lots of low priced junior clubs out there. What's less well known is just what those "bargain" clubs are made from. You've probably seen ads for "titanium matrix" junior clubs. They're called Ti Matrix, Ti Comp, Ti Xenium, and so on. Seems like they're called everything except what they are - aluminum.  Matrix clubheads contain - at most - a trace of titanium. But matrix means mixture, so they get by on that technicality.  There's plenty of these clubs for sale on ebay, but if you want to see a few Ti matrix drivers for yourself, just check the golf racks at Kmart or Walmart. Another way to manufacture junior clubs for next to nothing, is to build them with cheap "composite" shafts (ie; fiberglass) that wholesale for under a buck apiece, and are characterized by the following traits: heaviness, multiple uneven spines, low energy transfer and the tendency to twist at impact.  The other shafts of choice for these sets are steel cutdowns; which reduce swing speed and don't flex correctly. UST VT MAX shafts come in three skill/size/strength levels and are carefully selected, prepped, and finished to length for each custom assembled driver.
